Surrounding areas on Lough Derg such as Killaloe, Dromineer and Terryglass offer watersports such as sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and kayaking.

Only 5 miles away is the busy town of Nenagh, where you will find lots of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as tourist attractions such as Nenagh Castle and the Heritage Centre.

If you wish to travel further afield, then most major Irish Cities are only a short journey away - Limerick(30 mins), Galway(1.5 hours), Dublin(2 hours), Cork(2 hours), Kilkenny(1.5 hours).
